Jayli Imports is a small, family-owned business born, as we like to say, “Out of the Dust of the Dead.”
Jayli began when Jay, from Northern California, met Liora, from Cape Town, South Africa, while traveling in India. What started at farmers markets and Grateful Dead shows quickly grew into a thriving brand. We still sell our designs at West Coast festivals each summer—now alongside our two daughters—because it’s where our hearts are.
For over 18 years, we’ve traveled annually to Nepal and Thailand, working closely with the same small, family-run factories. Side by side with skilled cutters, tailors, embroiderers, and tie-dyers, we design and create high-quality bohemian clothing rooted in comfort, movement, and self-expression. Our collections feature flowing dresses and skirts, playful patchwork, vintage-inspired silhouettes, rich stonewash finishes, and vibrant tie dye—made to be worn, loved, and lived in.
All Jayli garments are Consciously Made and Fairly Traded. We prioritize ethical production, long-standing artisan relationships, and thoughtful sustainability, from recycling our shipping materials to reducing plastic whenever possible.
Your purchase directly supports artisans in Nepal and Thailand, including an all-women’s crochet co-op in Kathmandu that empowers women with flexible work and financial independence.
Peace, Love & Jayli ✌️💛
